LET’S TALK LOULU!

Join us of our fourth virtual gathering of Forest Talk, where we talk story about the animals and plants who live in our native ʻōhiʻa forests. We’re super excited to welcome Brendan Stogner from Limahuli Garden and Preserve as our guest to talk story about loulu, the only native palm genus in Hawai’i.

What: A Love Letter to Loulu: A horticultural perspective on why we should care for these incredible plants, why we should appreciate them in their natural habitat, plant them at our homes, and what we can do to protect them.

When: Wednesday, August 27th, 2025 at 10:30 a.m.

Who: Brendan Stogner, Limahuli Garden and Preserve, National Tropical Botanical Garden.

Where: Zoom. Reservations required. Register here.
