Invasive Plants

These plants are known to be garden or environmental weeds. Some of these species are backyard ornamentals that can escape the garden and invade natural and agricultural areas across the island. We advise against growing these plants and encourage you to remove them from your yard.

Be On The Lookout

B.O.L.O or “Be On The Lookout” plants are targets and potential targets for control and eradication by KISC field crews. If you see these species, please report them to KISC. Although we don’t control all these species, we gather information on their distribution to help evaluate them as potential control targets.
