Aloha Kauaʻi
We hope you all are recovering from hurricane Lowell. The KISC team are all physically okay but our base yard unfortunately suffered significant damages from the storm. As we formulate how to adapt to a new normal we want to reaffirm that the fight against invasive species is never over. In our previous blog post about storm impacts and invasive species we covered Miconia. Now, along with Miconia, we are aiming to continue our work on Little Fire Ants. We will be directly following up with property owners who have been working with us pre Lowell to touch base about continuing treatments or pausing to recover.
